An AI appointment setter for U.S. prospects
Pitaya calls the businesses on your list, asks for the person who decides, explains what you do in a sentence, and books a time on your calendar while they are on the phone.
- Books on your Cal.com calendar
- Calls in each prospect’s time zone
- Says it’s an AI on every call
Prospect Hello, Dan with Endpoint Systems.
Agent (AI) Hi Dan, thanks for taking my call. Who looks after new product lines or partnerships on your side?
Prospect Uh, that'll be myself. Are you a distributor, or…
Agent (AI) Not a distributor. We're the manufacturer. Our software adds shoplifting and suspicious-activity detection to the cameras your team already installs, and we partner with integrators as referral or reseller.
Agent (AI) Would it make sense if I sent a short partner overview and set up a quick call?
Prospect You know, how about we just start with the information, and then we'll decide if it makes sense to hop on a call.
Agent (AI) Sure, that works. What's the best direct email for the partner overview? I'll send that over and you can decide from there.

What your prospects hear
A recreated example call in Pitaya’s own agent voice: a quote request, called back and booked. Sound on.
Or have the agent call you
Pick a scenario, enter your mobile, and a Pitaya agent calls in seconds.
Calling you now…
Pick up and play along: ask questions, push back, say you’re busy.
That’s a Pitaya call.
Your own agent sounds like that, calling your prospects about what you sell.
The live demo calls US and Canadian mobiles. Elsewhere, sign up and talk to your agent in your browser: the first 15 minutes are free.
From the first ring to the booked meeting
Asks for the right person
At a main line it asks by role, gets the name, and asks to be put through, or for a direct line or email when they are out.
Qualifies in one or two questions
Checks that the problem you solve is real for them before suggesting a meeting.
Books the time on the call
Checks your Cal.com availability live, offers two times and sends the invite to the email they give.
Retries the ones it missed
Calls back no-answers later, in the prospect’s own business hours, and leaves your voicemail after the beep.
Made for US time zones
Their hours, not yours
Each contact is called inside your calling window in their own time zone, from Eastern to Hawaii.
Local numbers
Buy US local numbers by area code for $2 a month each. Callbacks are answered by your agent.
What you would set up
Pitaya writes a campaign like this from a sentence about your business. You can change any line in plain English.
- Goal
- Reach the owner or office manager and book a 20-minute demo of our scheduling software.
- Opening line
- “Hi, this is Sam with FieldPilot. We help HVAC companies fill their schedule without extra office staff. Is the owner around?”
- Instructions
- If the owner is out, ask for their name, a direct email and a good time to call back.
- Ask one question: how they book jobs today.
- Offer two demo times from the calendar; confirm their email.
- Never quote prices; say the demo covers them.
An example with a made-up company. The agent adds the AI disclosure itself.
Pay as you go, billed per second
You pay for conversations, not dials: calls nobody answers are free.
Add credit, and calls draw it down. Switch on auto top-up and campaigns never pause.
- Talk time, inbound and outbound
- $0.15 a minute, billed per second
- Each answered call
- At least 30 seconds ($0.075)
- Calls that ring out, are busy or fail
- Free
- Local US phone numbers

New accounts get $1 of credit, and your agent calls your own phone three times free. A card is needed only when you add credit.
- ✓Mobile and do-not-call checks before every dial

On a typical day of our own cold calls, 500 dials came to about $45: most answered calls are short voicemails and front desks.
How Pitaya keeps your calls within the rules
- The agent says it is an AI at the start of every call (in its opening line or its first reply), and that the call is recorded. If anyone asks, it says so again.
- Every number’s line type is checked before the first call: business lines and landlines are called; mobiles only when the contact’s consent is on file.
- “Don’t call me again” goes on your workspace’s do-not-call list at once, for every campaign.
- Calls go out only inside the hours and days you set, in each contact’s own time zone.
- Your part: consent where it is needed, and checking residential numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry. Pitaya is for calling businesses; it is not for calling consumers without consent.

Questions
Which calendars does it book on? +
Cal.com: the agent checks your availability during the call and books the slot the prospect picks. Without a calendar connected, it agrees a time and your team confirms it.
What happens when the owner is not there? +
It asks for their name, a direct line or email and a good time to call back, then calls back at that time.
Does it pretend to be human? +
No. It says it is an AI at the start of every call, and again if anyone asks.
